HYPONIC GROOMING ARTIST (Hand Scissoring & Volume) is 100% hypoallergenic shampoo specialized for creating enhanced volume for dogs such as the Poodle and Bichon Frise.
This gentle shampoo is made of 100% natural cleaning agents, free of hazardous chemical substances and is formulated with Lavender and Matricaria Flower Extracts for silky soft hair & Freesia Extract for healthy skin and ample volume. Rich, creamy bubbles and the soft feeling of washing do not require a conditioner.
Optimized for scissor cuts, thus no problem with the 'ouch of the hand feeling' when using scissors and allows for a clean cut without a sliding effect. It is also good for breeds such as Poodle and Bichon due to its rich volumizing capability. If you use clippers for body, and scissors for face/legs/feet, we recommend volumizing for everyday use.
Hyponic's Grooming Artist Line does not require a conditioner. This is because of their use of botanic surfactants which are 100% botanical and are naturally derived. They are also amphoteric surfactants which means they carry positive and negative ions. This is the equivalent of what a shampoo and conditioner combo would do.
Lavender Flower extract strengthens hair follicles and promotes hair growth. Regularly applying lavender oil improves hair texture by conditioning the hair follicles, reducing frizz, and reduces coat fall.
Matricaria flower extract adds moisture and gives hair shine.
Peppermint Leaf Extract brings blood flow to the skin and will reduce coat fall and increase follicle depth resulting in stronger hair strands.
Rosa Canina Fruit oil contains a vast amount vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that can help nourish and hydrate your skin.
This product is the most volumizing and gives the coat a weightless finish. This is a fantastic product for hand scissoring in the grooming salon and will allow for less passes with a guard comb and clipper saving time in the salon. Maintenance of a Poodle, Bichon or Pomeranian in show coat is very popular in this product.
Why No conditioner?
With HYPONIC Grooming Artist shampoos, there is no need for a separate conditioner.
The idea behind this is science!
Human hair and dog coats have negative ions. In everyday life with drying, dyeing, perming and such, the coat is damaged over time.
It shows the damage caused over time like that of cracks in asphalt. The surfactant used in the shampoos for cleaning is an anionic surfactant.
The use of anionic surfactants in the original negative coat makes the coat brittle.
(negative ion + anionic = stiff)
The conditioner uses a cationic surfactant. Adding a cation to the anion softens the coat.
And the cation conditioner fills in the gap of the damaged coat to create a shinier and healthier coat.
In summary, coats and shampoos are negative ions, therefore, use of a cationic conditioner will soften it.
Naturally derived surfactants are characterized by amphotericity. HYPONIC uses amphoteric surfactants which are a 100% botanical-based naturally derived secondary surfactant, excluding all synthetic chemical surfactants with high toxicity.
An amphoteric surfactant simultaneously acts as a cleanser and conditioner.
That is why HYPONIC shampoos replace the need for separate conditioners. You will notice a difference after washing.
